Since its founding in 2016, the ICR has stood at the forefront of cannabis research, becoming one of the first institutes of its kind housed within a regional comprehensive university. Our mission is clear: to conduct unbiased, innovative research for the public good and ensure that findings are accessible and impactful.

Through international conferences, the Journal of Cannabis Research, and monthly webinar series, the ICR continues to engage leading scientists, clinicians, and educators across Colorado and beyond. Yet, the demand for high-quality cannabis research far exceeds the resources currently available.
